Safe Housing

Many orphanages are in poor condition. Structural repairs need to be made to these buildings to make them safe and keep dangerous pests out. Once we were alerted to a baby house orphanage in Khabarovsk that had an incidence of rats biting babies. Another orphanage housing 10-15 year old children had so many rats that the children are afraid to go to sleep at night. Do to the poor water quality in some on these regions, water filtration systems are required to provide safe drinking water to orphans.
